Sennheiser Helmet

Wind noise reducing bike helmet

Yellow Flower

In this class, we focused on model-making techniques as a way to explore form, function, and brand integration.

For this project, I designed and fabricated a bicycle helmet inspired by the visual language of Sennheiser, translating their emphasis on precision and acoustic performance into a wearable product.

The helmet incorporates a curtain air device intended to reduce wind noise by redirecting airflow around the ears. By shaping and channeling air rather than simply blocking it, the design aims to improve rider comfort and auditory clarity, particularly at higher speeds.

This project allowed me to combine physical prototyping with aerodynamic and acoustic considerations, demonstrating how model-making can be used to test and communicate complex performance-driven ideas.
